Amazon has started updating the Fire TV interface, which the company announced during CES 2026. The update is already available to users in the USA and is being distributed for free.

What is known

The company first introduced the new design at the CES exhibition in Las Vegas in January. The interface received rounded elements, changed typography, new gradients, and increased spacing between blocks. Also, the number of apps that can be pinned to the home screen has been expanded: instead of six, up to 20 icons are now available.

The top navigation bar has been redesigned — it contains tabs "Movies," "TV Shows," "Live TV," "Sports," and "News." Sections display content from services subscribed to by the user, as well as "For You" collections, popular releases, and free movies. The Live TV tab consolidates live broadcasts from streaming services, cable TV, or antenna.

The new version of the interface integrates Alexa+, which supports natural language queries and can interact with on-screen content. The feature is available to users with a Prime subscription or for a separate fee.

The update is already available for Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd generation), and Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series in the USA.
