The role-playing game Avowed has been released on PlayStation 5 and received a major update on all platforms
Avowed, a fantasy RPG by Obsidian Entertainment, has been released on PlayStation 5. It is no longer an Xbox console exclusive, and this happened on the first anniversary of its release.
What is known
The game, set in the Pillars of Eternity universe, supports all the features of the PS5, including the DualSense controller functions.
At the same time, Avowed received a special update on all platforms, in which developers added a lot of new content and additional features, including several playable races, weapons, a full photo mode, and more.
Recall, Avowed was released in February 2025. The game was highly praised by critics, but gamers actively criticized it for outdated graphics, questionable game mechanics, and general lack of originality.
Obsidian claimed that after the anniversary update, Avowed would become a “more complete game.”
