Dyson has introduced a new device for wet floor cleaning — PencilWash. This is the second model in the lineup after last year's PencilVac, which the manufacturer positioned as the thinnest vacuum cleaner in the world.

What is known

PencilWash features a handle with a diameter of 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) throughout its length and weighs just over 2 kg. Thanks to its ultra-thin body, the device can almost completely lie horizontally, which simplifies cleaning under low furniture and in hard-to-reach corners. Its compact dimensions also make storage easier, especially in small apartments.

According to the company, the device dispenses only clean water on the floor, quickly removing spilled liquid and stains, and the surface dries in a short time after treatment. The high-density microfiber roller can simultaneously collect both wet and dry debris in one pass. The absence of a traditional filter is expected to reduce the accumulation of dirt and the emergence of unpleasant odors.

Above the control buttons, there is a screen displaying the battery charge level. After use, the handle can be placed in the charging dock. The cost of Dyson PencilWash in the USA will be 350 dollars, and the start date for sales has not yet been announced.
