In the fourth quarter of 2025, Europeans preferred Apple and Samsung smartphones while interest in Chinese brands significantly declined

Counterpoint Research analysts published statistics on the European smartphone market for the fourth quarter of 2025, which showed that Apple further strengthened its leadership.

What is known

According to Counterpoint data for the last three months of 2025, Apple increased its smartphone sales in Europe by 7% year-over-year, capturing 33% of the entire market.

Another industry giant — Samsung also showed growth of 4% and its share amounted to 29%.

Analysts noted that if a year ago the gap between the companies was 3%, now it has increased to four.

The third most popular Chinese brand is Xiaomi, but it lost 6% of sales in the fourth quarter, and its share fell to 16%.

Realme's sales plummeted by 21%, while Honor managed to show growth of 18% and captured 4% of the market.
