This is how the flagships of this year sound: Samsung introduced a new version of the Over The Horizon melody for the Galaxy S26 series

The traditional ringtone received a fresh arrangement and became part of the preparation for the presentation of new flagships, Official: Galaxy S26 lineup and other new Samsung releases will be unveiled on February 25 at Galaxy Unpacked.
Theme of 2026 — "A Soundtrack of the Earth"
This year the composition is designed in the concept of “A Soundtrack of the Earth”. The author's idea is aimed at conveying the beauty of the planet and emphasizes the harmony between technology and nature.
Samsung annually reinterprets its signature melody, changing the style and mood. While in 2024 the theme was performed by a traditional Korean orchestra, and in 2025 — in the style of big band jazz, in 2026 the brand returned to a large-scale orchestral sound with a more cinematic character.
Who worked on the new arrangement
The author of the 2026 version was composer and pianist Eunike Tanzil from Los Angeles. Samsung noticed her work on the arrangement of Over The Horizon back in 2024 and has now invited her for official collaboration.
The recording took place at the legendary Abbey Road studio in London with the participation of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The final melody is presented in Dolby Atmos format, providing a more immersive sound.
Recall that the branded Over The Horizon motif has been used in Galaxy smartphones since 2011 and remains one of Samsung's most recognizable audio calling cards.
The new composition will be pre-installed on all Galaxy S26 series models and will become the standard ringtone of the devices.
