Samsung introduced TWS headphones Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro — updated design, improved sound, and advanced noise cancellation
At the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, Samsung unveiled the new generation of wireless headphones — Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Both models received an updated design, improved ergonomics, and significant upgrades in sound and noise cancellation.
What is known
Samsung redesigned the charging case: now the headphones lie flat, making it easier to remove and store them, while the lid remains transparent.
The headphones themselves have stricter lines and metal elements, and the Buds 4 Pro have an improved shape with silicone tips for a snugger fit. Thanks to machine learning, the Super Clear Call feature provides clear sound even in noisy environments. Support for a 16 kHz bandwidth ensures clear voice transmission without background noise.
Galaxy Buds 4 — compact and lightweight
The base model is aimed at everyday use and it has:
- one 11-mm dynamic driver;
- open design without silicone tips;
- improved battery life;
- updated ANC noise cancellation system.
Galaxy Buds 4 Pro — premium sound and advanced ANC
The Pro version received more significant improvements:
- two-way design: separate woofer and tweeter;
- extended frequency range and deeper bass;
- improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system;
- adaptive equalizer (Adaptive EQ);
- redesigned shape for better sound isolation.
According to early reviews, the Buds 4 Pro demonstrate sound levels comparable to the AirPods Pro 3 and top models from Sony and Bose.
The Pro version offers up to 26 hours of battery life, including charging via the case, while the base version offers up to 24 hours of use.
An important difference is that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have moisture and dust protection to the IP57 standard — they are not afraid of even short-term immersion in water, whereas the more affordable model only has IP55 protection.
Another important feature is the newly appeared ability to control with head gestures. A simple nod allows users to answer calls hands-free, and other gestures and voice commands are also supported.
The Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro headphones are available in black and white, and in the official Samsung store, the “rose gold” color is offered for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
When they will be on sale
Both models are already available for pre-order, and the global sales start is scheduled for March 11, 2026.
