Volvo Cars introduced the 2026 model year Volvo EX30 — an updated version of the electric crossover, which remains the brand's most compact model. The design remains the same, but the technical part and equipment have received a number of improvements.

What's New?

A new base electric motor with 150 hp (110 kW) has appeared. It will be combined with a 51 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 339 km, or with a 69 kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 476 km. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed charging power data. The new version will also be available, including for the Cross Country version.

The entire EX30 lineup will support Vehicle-to-Load technology. It allows external devices to be powered from the traction battery through a special adapter, which is purchased separately. This feature will also be available for previously sold cars thanks to an over-the-air update (OTA) scheduled for the summer.

Another important change concerns the multimedia system interface. It has been redesigned and simplified to ensure faster access to key features. The controls have been completely revised, and a new customizable tool panel has been added, where the most important functions can be brought out.

Additionally, there will be two new equipment levels — Harvest and Black. The Harvest version has a light interior with recycled material finishes, while Black is characterized by the predominance of black tones in the interior.

Information on prices and the start dates for sales of the 2026 model year Volvo EX30 will be announced later.
