Keychron decided to literally cement its leadership in the mechanical keyboard market and introduced a limited edition version of the popular Keychron K2 HE model in a 75% format (without a numeric block).

If you thought that an aluminum case was the height of strength, get ready for new sensations. This device can withstand a lot, as its case is ... cast from reinforced concrete!

What is known

The manufacturer claims that the use of concrete practically completely dampens any parasitic vibrations.

The result? The coveted “thock” — a deep, hollow, and noble typing sound that custom build enthusiasts fanatically strive for.

Keychron K2 HE Concrete Edition

Despite the harsh appearance, the insides of the Keychron K2 HE Concrete Edition meet the most modern standards and offer:

  • magnetic switches (Hall Effect) — you can adjust the actuation point of each key in the range from 0.1 to 4.0 mm;
  • Rapid Trigger function — the key deactivates instantly as soon as you start lifting your finger, which is critical for dynamic games and fast typing;
  • “south” RGB backlighting — LEDs are directed at the user, providing better compatibility with premium keycaps and pleasant glow.

Specifications

Parameter Value
Case Material High-strength concrete / Steel frame
Weight ~2.5 kg
Switches Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula
Polling Rate 1000 Hz

Since the concrete is hand-poured, each Keychron K2 HE keyboard has a unique texture: micropores, minor irregularities, and shades of gray make each device one of a kind.

And importantly — this is the first keyboard that is dangerous to drop not because it will break, but because it can break the floor.

The price of the exclusive concrete keyboard is $200.
