Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 gaming tablet at the MWC 2026 exhibition. The device is aimed at mobile game players.

What is known

The tablet features an 8.8″ LCD display with a resolution of 3040 × 1904 pixels (3K), a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a density of 408 ppi. The screen supports a variable refresh rate up to 165 Hz, touch sampling rate of 144 Hz, peak brightness of 750 nits, HDR10, and 98% DCI-P3 coverage.

Performance is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, manufactured with a 3nm process. Configurations are available up to 16 GB of LPDDR5T and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 Pro. The cooling is managed by the Legion Coldfront Vapor system with a vapor chamber — the manufacturer claims improved heat dissipation by 32%.

The tablet runs on Android 16 with optimizations for gaming and multitasking. AI Engine+ is responsible for improving in-game sound, noise cancellation during voice chats, and sensor sensitivity optimization.

The 9000 mAh battery supports fast charging at 68W.

The device weighs 360 g, with a thickness of 7.6 mm. It features two USB-C ports, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 support. In Europe, the base version costs 1000 euros, with sales starting in April 2026.
