Motorola Razr Fold Unveiled: Stunning Cameras, 6000mAh Battery, and a Snapdragon Powerhouse for €1999
Motorola revealed the details of its first foldable smartphone in the Fold format, which was Motorola showcased the Razr Fold — its first foldable book-style smartphone.
The flagship Motorola Razr Fold will debut as an exclusive for the European market and will feature impressive characteristics, but the price will be equally corresponding.

From the new information, we learned how much the new device will cost, which chipset will provide its performance, and what kind of autonomy potential buyers can expect.
Razr Fold will cost €1999 with the new Moto Pen Ultra stylus, which recognizes tilt, pressure and comes with a charging case. The stylus is designed specifically for Razr Fold and the flagship Motorola Signature line, but the price of the Razr Fold version without this accessory has not yet been revealed. The sales of the smartphone will start in Europe, and later it will also reach North America.
The smartphone will have a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset (but not Elite), which will be sufficient for the smooth operation of applications and multitasking.
No need to worry about the autonomy of Motorola Razr Fold, as it will feature a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh — only surpassed by the just-introduced Honor Magic V6 among foldable gadgets. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Dust and water protection is claimed in accordance with IP48 and IP49 standards, which is an important characteristic for foldable devices.
As a reminder, when announced, the manufacturer stated that Razr Fold is equipped with an internal 8.09” LTPO display with 2K resolution (2480×2200) and a refresh rate of 120Hz, turning the device practically into a compact tablet when unfolded. Outside, there is a 6.56” OLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate, allowing use of the smartphone in folded mode without restrictions.
Motorola emphasized the cameras: Razr Fold received a triple 50 MP system, which includes the main module with optical stabilization, a periscopic telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. 8K video recording at 30 fps is supported. There are two selfie cameras — 32 MP on the external screen and 20 MP on the internal.
The smartphone also includes Motorola's proprietary AI functions, including Catch Me Up and Next Move, which help with notification handling and contextual prompts. At launch, Razr Fold will be available in two colors: Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White.
