Double victory for Alfa Romeo in Germany: according to the results of the "BEST CARS 2026" award, conducted by the magazine auto motor und sport, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Tonale models became winners in their categories among imported cars.

Giulia took first place in the "Midsize" class for the ninth time. The Tonale crossover won in the "Compact SUV" segment. It is noteworthy that Giulia has been in production since 2015, yet still enjoys high ratings in Germany.

Almost 95,000 readers of one of Germany's most influential automotive publications participated in the voting. The sports sedan received 22.7% of the votes, while the brand's first C-SUV garnered 8.4%.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio also demonstrated a good result, taking second place among imported "Large SUVs" with 9.9% of the votes. Alfa Romeo Junior came fourth in the "Small SUVs" import category.

All four current Alfa Romeo models showed above-average results, confirming the brand's steady popularity among German buyers. Germany remains Alfa Romeo's second most important market by sales volume.

This year, the "BEST CARS" award was held for the 50th time. About 95,000 people participated in the voting, choosing their favorites among 480 models in 13 categories, including separate standings for imported brands. The official award ceremony will take place in June in Stuttgart.
