Ubisoft Unveils The Division Resurgence Launch Date and Announces Major DLC for The Division 2 in 2026
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment studio held a presentation in honor of the 10th anniversary of The Division shooter series, where they shared two important news for its fans.
What is Known
The studio, which The Division Head Julian Gerighty Left Ubisoft to Work on Battlefield (Julian Gerighty), confirmed that in 2026 as part of the multi-year content support of The Division 2, a major story DLC will be released. Its details are still undisclosed, however, a short teaser reports that gamers will return to Central Park in New York, where events of the first The Division unfold.
The second piece of news was the announcement of the release date of the much-troubled mobile game The Division Resurgence, which was on the verge of cancellation several times. It will be a conditionally free shooter with preserving mechanics of the main parts of the series. Its events will also unfold in New York, recreated on Unreal Engine.
The game will be available on Android and iOS from March 31.
