The release of Pragmata has been delayed, but don't be upset, as Capcom has announced great news — the game will be released earlier.

What's Known

Initially planned for release on April 24, the long-awaited sci-fi action game was announced at the Capcom Spotlight presentation to be released a week earlier — on April 17 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The new trailer showed several locations not previously demonstrated. The footage shows android girl Diana and space engineer Hugh venturing onto the open surface of the Moon and even visiting the Hydroponics Center. Additionally, gamers were introduced to the autonomous robot assistant Cabin, which handles various functions in the Refuge, exchanges coins for rewards, and plays music.

For those unaware

In Pragmata, players control two characters right away — space engineer Hugh and cute android Diana. They must join forces to escape the lunar research station, which has been captured by AI-driven robots.

The central part of Pragmata's gameplay involves unconventional battles where the player must not only shoot at the enemy's weak points but also use Diana's abilities to hack robots. This process is implemented through a simple but interesting mini-game that occurs simultaneously with Hugh's actions, thus, the player effectively controls two characters at once, which narratively strengthens the bond between the protagonists.

The main objective for Hugh and Diana is to evacuate from the station and return to Earth. However, humanity has done everything possible to conceal the incident that occurred on the Moon and does not wish for the return of androids, which Diana, by reminder, is one. This places the main characters in a moral dilemma, and the story's end will likely depend on the player's decision.
