TCL Unveils World's First 1040Hz miniLED Gaming Monitor: 27P2A Ultra Breaks New Ground
The TCL brand continues to amaze with its innovative monitors and has announced the 27P2A Ultra, which will become the world's first miniLED display with a frequency of up to 1040 Hz.
What is known
The manufacturer stated that the monitor with a 27" diagonal is based on a high-speed 2K matrix, but at this resolution, the frequency is 550 Hz, and those very 1040 Hz will be available only when the resolution is reduced to 720p.
Since this is an e-sports model, this condition is not a big problem — many professional players intentionally lower the resolution so that graphic details and visual effects do not distract attention.
The 27P2A Ultra monitor will also receive several special AI options for gamers, such as automatic inversion of the sight color when the background changes, accelerated dimming after light flashes, and improved visibility of dark areas.
Note that there is already a monitor on the market with a frequency of 1040 Hz — Samsung Odyssey G6, but it has an IPS panel, and the model from TCL became the first specifically with miniLED.
The cost of the 27P2A Ultra is not yet specified.
