The Big Bad Wolf studio released the system requirements for the horror Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, which should appeal to fans of Howard F. Lovecraft's stories.

What is known

The information from the developers cannot fail to please gamers, since it turned out that to dive into the depths of the Pacific Ocean to meet unknown monsters, a powerful PC is not required — 16 GB on the hard drive and a graphics card as ancient as Cthulhu — GTX 1060 are enough.

The events of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss unfold in the near future — in the year 2053. Gamers will have to dive into the depths of the Pacific Ocean in search of missing miners and, in the role of agent Noah, together with the AI assistant Key, find out what is happening at the deep-sea station. The expedition immediately goes off plan, eight crew members die, and the protagonist is left alone with the creepy monsters of the depths.

Players will have to solve puzzles, search for clues, explore the sunken city of R'lyeh, look for hints in closed or semi-open locations, and make choices that will affect not only the game world but also the characters. And, of course, oppose the ancient horror of Cthulhu.

When to expect

The release of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss will take place on April 16 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Pre-orders are already open.

Everyone willing can buy the R'lyeh Edition — an extended content pack that will include a bonus quest, as well as a digital artbook, soundtrack, and an exclusive board game scenario.
