Pixar's Exciting Lineup: "Monsters, Inc. 3" in the Works and New Films Unveiled!
The Wall Street Journal published an article discussing the upcoming plans of the animation studio Pixar.
To the delight of viewers, the company is preparing several exciting premieres, including sequels to everyone's favorite franchises.
What is known
The most interesting news is that Pixar is working on the third part of the famous "Monsters, Inc." — the first parts were released in 2001 and 2013. The series introduced many recognizable characters, including the green Mike Wazowski and his huge furry friend James P. Sullivan. Unfortunately, "Monsters, Inc. 3" will not appear on screens soon as it is at the end of the premiere list.
However, "Toy Story 5" will be released worldwide on June 19, 2026, and after that, we can expect "The Incredibles 3" in 2028 and in 2029 the sequel to "Coco's Mystery".
In addition to sequels, Pixar is also preparing several completely new cartoons. On March 6, the world premiere of "Hoppers" took place, and exactly one year later — March 5, 2027 — Pixar will present the cartoon "Gatto" about an Italian black cat who gets caught up in the center of a criminal showdown involving the cat mafia, followed by Ono Ghost Market.
