BMW officially introduced the first model created after the complete integration of the Alpina brand into its own structure. The BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur crossover is not just another update, but a statement that the era of big engines and excessive luxury is not yet a thing of the past. However, only 120 selected individuals will be able to enjoy this as the limited edition is precisely this number.

More Than Factory Trim

The integration of Alpina into the structure of the Bavarian concern has concluded, and the XB7 Manufaktur has become a symbol of this new chapter. It is no longer an external tuning, but a full-fledged factory exclusive, which will be assembled with special attention to detail. A limited edition of 120 units ensures that encountering the same car in a golf club parking lot is nearly impossible. Two special matte body colors have been prepared for those who appreciate visual uniqueness: Frozen Alpina Green and Blue.

Iron and Dynamics

Under the hood of this giant is a classic 4.4-liter V8 with twin-turbocharging. Thanks to the mild hybrid system, the power unit delivers 631 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Despite its mass, which approaches that of a small yacht, the crossover accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in an impressive 3.9 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 290 km/h — quite enough to drive swiftly from an elite boutique to a country mansion. Official Alpina data confirms that the suspension settings here are also special to maintain the brand's balance between comfort and handling at high speeds.

Aesthetics for the Selective

The exterior of the Manufaktur not only flaunts colors but also enormous 23-inch forged wheels with the brand’s signature multi-spoke design. Inside, there's an atmosphere BMW calls the pinnacle of comfort: the cabin is trimmed with premium Merino leather and natural black walnut. For second-row passengers, captain's seats with an extended set of adjustments are provided. BMW Group press service also focuses on small details: each car comes with a handmade travel bag made from the same materials as the interior.

The price of such luxury is not officially disclosed to the general public, but preliminary estimates start at $200,000 (8,200,000 UAH). It's the price for status, limited edition, and the opportunity to own a piece of the brand's history, which for decades has created the fastest and most comfortable versions of Bavarian cars.

While some manufacturers focus on safety and automation, as Volvo reinvented the seat belt, BMW and Alpina continue to showcase their strength on the field of classic luxury.
