Oukitel has unveiled a new rugged laptop RG14-P, designed with maximum focus on autonomy — this is the world's first industrial model with an integrated solar panel and two batteries.

What is known

The laptop features a 14.1” touchscreen Full HD display and is powered by an Intel Core i7-150U processor. The configuration includes 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512 GB solid-state drive with expansion capability.

Special attention has been paid to autonomy: a 10 W solar panel is integrated into the lid, capable of recharging the device even under diffused lighting. Inside is a 3000 mAh battery, while outside is a removable 5200 mAh module that supports hot swapping. The total energy capacity reaches 95 Wh, and charging is done through a 65 W adapter.

The RG14-P body complies with IP68 and IP69K standards, withstands shocks, vibrations, exposure to water and dust, and temporary immersion in water. For video calls, an 8 MP removable camera on a magnetic mount is provided. Among the additional accessories is an optional camping lantern.

The device runs on Windows 11 and is positioned as a professional tool for military, geologists, rescue services, builders, engineers, and all who need a reliable laptop with long battery life away from the power grid. The cost of the Oukitel RG14-P has not yet been disclosed, but the manufacturer promises to announce the price closer to the sales start.
