Poco X8 Pro Series Unveiled: Global Launch of Speedy Smartphones with Superhero Edition and Powerful Features
Poco (an international sub-brand of Xiaomi) announced that the presentation of the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max smartphones will take place on March 17 at 13:00 (CET).
What is known
As previously reported, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max are global versions of Redmi introduced Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max — budget sub-flagships with cool processors, bright OLED displays, and high autonomy, which were released at the end of January and are hugely popular.

Except for the battery, their specifications do not differ from the new Redmi series. Thus, the Poco X8 Pro received a 6.59” OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Dimensity 8500 processor, and a 6500 mAh battery. This model will also be available in A smartphone that Tony Stark would envy: Poco X8 Pro will be available in the superhero version Iron Man Edition with an image of the iconic Marvel character.
The more advanced Poco X8 Pro Max will offer a 6.83” OLED screen, a Dimensity 9500s chipset, and an 8550 mAh battery.
Both smartphones support 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max are equipped with modest 50MP and 8MP cameras, while the front camera will have 20MP.
According to a leak caused by Xiaomi itself, the prices of the smartphones are known:
Poco X8 Pro
- 8/256 GB — €400;
- 8/512 GB — €450;
- 12/512 GB — €480.
Poco X8 Pro Max
- 12/256 GB — €530;
- 12/512 GB — €580.
Both models have a similar design and will be available in black, white, and mint green colors.
