The Strong New York museum has announced the nominees for inclusion in the Video Game Hall of Fame.

- Frogger
- Galaga
- League of Legends
- Mega Man
- PaRappa the Rapper
- RuneScape
- Silent Hill
- Tokimeki Memorial
The selection of games is determined by numerous criteria, including cultural influence, industry significance, fame, and popularity. Most importantly, games must be iconic, recognizable, acclaimed by millions of gamers and critics, and influential in the video game industry and mass culture.
A strict jury selects the most worthy interactive entertainments from thousands of contenders.
Do not be surprised that modern blockbusters are not on the list of annual nominees, as it is currently extremely challenging to assess their impact on the industry and the freshest game on the 2026 list is the legendary The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011).
Everyone can participate in the online voting, which runs until March 13. Gamers' opinions will be considered when determining the four winners, which the strict jury will announce on May 7.
