The company OpenAI has launched a new feature in ChatGPT — interactive visualizations that help understand math and science. The tool creates dynamic graphs and diagrams while explaining topics, and also allows users to alter parameters to observe how it affects the result.

What is known

The new feature can already be used to explain over 70 topics. Among them are the Pythagorean theorem, Coulomb's law, lens equations, and other key formulas from physics and mathematics. Users can change the parameters of the task or the values of variables to see how the solution changes in real time.

The feature is available to all ChatGPT users regardless of subscription. OpenAI notes that it can be most beneficial for high school students and college students studying precise sciences.

Previously, the company introduced the Study Mode, which helps users find answers independently instead of receiving a ready-made solution. OpenAI adds that this is just the beginning: over time, ChatGPT will acquire more interactive educational tools and support for new subjects.
