Xiaomi announced a new children's electric toothbrush, the Mijia Kids Electric Toothbrush Pro, which turns a procedure disliked by many children into an engaging and educational process.

What is known

The novelty is equipped with a color display that shows animations, hints, and game tasks. The brush guides the child around the oral cavity, reminding them to change areas every 30 seconds, and at the end of a two-minute cycle, it shows a “reward” — a virtual character or short animation.

Accuracy of brushing is ensured by a six-axis motion sensor, which works together with AI algorithms. The system analyzes the trajectory and pressure, marks missed areas, and warns if the child brushes too quickly or presses too hard. Problem areas are displayed on the screen in orange, helping to form proper technique.

Through the Mijia app, parents can set up an individual care plan, note sensitive areas, monitor statistics, and track progress. The brush integrates into the HyperOS ecosystem and works for up to 90 days on a single charge, making it convenient for long-term use.

Xiaomi positions the Mijia Kids Electric Toothbrush Pro as a tool that helps children develop healthy habits, and parents to be confident in the quality of daily hygiene.

The body is water-resistant to the IPX8 standard, allowing for full brush washing. A travel lock feature is provided for travel, and the handle comes with anime-style stickers for personalization.

Currently, the Mijia Kids Electric Toothbrush Pro is available for public testing in China. The price of the novelty is unknown.
