Gamers have received yet another indirect proof that Bethesda is preparing a remaster of the post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 3. Insiders and journalists have already spoken out about the re-release of the famous 2008 game, and there have been several leaks, including from Microsoft court documents, but the source of the new information is unexpected and quite amusing.

What is known

Internet detectives stumbled upon a new Nuka Cola figure — the iconic drink from the Fallout universe, where bottle caps are used as currency. A product by McFarlane Toy was posted on the collectible figures store Brodepot, but the most remarkable thing is that Nuka Cola is marked as merchandise for the still unannounced Fallout 3 Remastered, and the figure was planned for shipment starting August 31, 2026.

The corresponding page was promptly removed, but screenshots, as they say, do not burn:

There are also rumors that Not only Fallout 3: authoritative insider has no doubt that a remaster/remake of Fallout: New Vegas is in development, which many fans consider the best game in the series. It is expected that both updated games will be technically similar to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (released in April 2025), so it can be expected that graphics and visual effects will be redone "from scratch" on Unreal Engine 5, while physics and game mechanics will be handled by the original engine, but according to insider information, their release will not happen soon.
