Philips Unveils Baristina Bar Pro 500: Cold Brew in Just 90 Seconds!
Philips has introduced a new automatic coffee machine Baristina Bar Pro 500, capable of making iced coffee in just 90 seconds, while it handles hot coffee even faster. The device is aimed at home use and combines a compact design with fast cold extraction technology.
What is known
The main feature of the model is the AuraPress technology, which allows you to prepare cold brew without hours of steeping. Typically, cold coffee is brewed for about 12 hours, but in the Bar Pro 500 this process takes about one and a half minutes. The system combines several brewing principles - high pressure, slow water pass-through, and low temperature.
The coffee machine is equipped with a pump with a pressure of 16 bars, which ensures stable extraction and a rich taste of the drink. Inside, a ceramic disc grinding mechanism is installed, which, according to the manufacturer, is highly durable and helps better preserve the aroma of coffee beans. The AeroFoam Pro system prepares dense micro-foam cappuccino without manual frothing.
Baristina Bar Pro 500 supports six brewing modes, including espresso, lungo, and cold coffee. The user can adjust the strength of the drink and the portion volume in the range of 70 to 200 ml. The device is equipped with a water tank with a volume of 1.2 liters and a bean container for 170 g.
Another feature is the BeanSync 2.0 system, which automatically selects extraction parameters depending on the degree of roasting of coffee beans. This allows you to optimize the taste of the drink without manual adjustment.
Price of the novelty
The coffee machine is already available for pre-sale in the Chinese market. The cost of the device is about $550 (converted from yuan).
It is expected that the Philips Baristina Bar Pro 500 will appear in Europe in the spring of 2026. The approximate price is from €799 depending on the configuration and body color.
