The French studio Dontnod, the author of Life Is Strange, Vampyr, and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, has unveiled the release date for its new game - the sci-fi action-adventure Aphelion.

What is known

For unknown reasons, the developers did not widely attract gamers' attention to the release date of the title, and only published it on the game's pages on PS Store, Microsoft Store and Steam. Surprisingly, even on the official game website and in the social media, information about the release did not appear.

But we already know that Aphelion will be released on April 28 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, and anyone can already pre-order it for $32.

Interface of the new game Aphelion

Aphelion is an adventure game where players take on the role of two astronauts. They leave a dying planet and set off to the mysterious Persephone - the tenth planet discovered on the edge of the Solar System, to establish a new home for humanity. During the journey, the spaceship crashes, and the crew has to fight for survival.

The game is also notable because the European Space Agency (ESA) participated in its development, consulting Dontnod to make the game situations and environments as realistic as possible.
