Publisher Square Enix and studio Deck Nine delighted fans of dramatic cinematic games with a new trailer for Life is Strange, which will be subtitled Reunion.

The novelty is a direct continuation of Double Exposure (2024) and will showcase the reunion of friends Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, who were separated after the events of the first part of the series, and will forever close their storyline (or until Square Enix decides to revive it).

What is Known

The public was shown a three-minute gameplay trailer in which Max infiltrates a masquerade party to obtain a mask for her friend, as required by their plan, the details of which are not yet revealed.

Perhaps Life is Strange fans won't be surprised that the gameplay and core mechanics remain unchanged; we will still interact with characters and make choices that affect the course of events. Max can once again rewind time to change her actions, while Chloe has a different skill — she can convince people of her correctness, but usually does so rather bluntly.

The Reunion story unfolds at Caledon University, where the heroines must prevent a catastrophic fire, and players will be able to control both girls for the first time — previously, this was only possible in separate games.

When to Expect

The release of Life is Strange: Reunion will take place on March 26 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
