Searching for medical information on Google is gradually becoming a thing of the past, as chatbots and neural networks provide advice faster and more personalized.

Microsoft is not going to let competitors 'treat' people and is launching Copilot Health—a separate secure chatbot within Copilot that will provide medical advice.

What is Known

Copilot Health will collect data from wearable devices, analyze it, and help the user improve their condition and warn about the risk of serious disorders or diseases.

In developing Copilot Health, Microsoft consulted with top medical organizations from fifty countries and received certification from the National Academy of Medicine of the USA—all of which guarantees high quality and safety of advice. In case of serious health deterioration of the user, the service is capable of connecting to the US medical databases and selecting the appropriate specialist.

Importantly, Copilot Health received the ISO/IEC 42001 certification—the world's first standard for AI management systems, confirming that an independent third-party company has verified how Microsoft manages the service and that private medical information is stored with high protection and proper confidentiality, isolated from the main Copilot, and only the user can manage personal data and determine who it is shared with.

Copilot Health is undergoing testing and residents of the USA can join it.

It's not yet known when the full launch of the service will take place, but it's stated that initially it will happen in the USA and only in English, and later Copilot Health will spread to other countries and languages.
