Citizen Unveils Stunning Black Panther Watch for T’Challa's 60th Anniversary, Priced at $450
Citizen is preparing to release a new watch in collaboration with Black Panther. The model is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the character T'Challa, the ruler of the fictional state of Wakanda.
What is known
The new watch is named Citizen Black Panther 60th Anniversary (model AW1858-03W). It has already been spotted in the product listings on Amazon in the US, where the design and key features of the device have also been revealed. Additionally, one of the images of the new watch appeared on the official Citizen website.
The model is done in black and green colors, referencing the Black Panther image. The dial features a triangular pattern in green, black, and white shades, with a golden logo in the hero's mask shape at the center. Additional purple accents are applied to the minute scale, with a black ion-coated bezel around it.
The watch case is made of metal and has a diameter of 42 mm. The back cover is engraved with a mark dedicated to the character's 60th anniversary. The model comes with a black silicone strap.
The watch is equipped with three analog hands and a basic date indicator. Inside, it uses the proprietary J810 Eco-Drive mechanism, which charges from any light source. The dial is protected by sapphire glass, and the water resistance is up to 100 meters.
According to Amazon, the recommended price for the Citizen Black Panther AW1858-03W will be about $450. Currently, the model is marked as temporarily unavailable for sale, and the official sales start date has not yet been announced.
