LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Release Date Moved Up, Surprising Fans with Early Launch
News has emerged about another game release date shift, but this time gamers will be glad to hear it, as the humorous action LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released earlier than expected.

Warner Bros. Games and Traveller's Tales studio announced that the new LEGO game about the adventures of the Superhero will be released not on May 29, but a week earlier — May 22. This information was revealed in a new teaser for Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight — the most massive part of the series, which humorously depicts traditionally dark stories of Batman's confrontation with the cunning criminals of Gotham.
Recall that in Legacy of the Dark Knight, the authors will combine the plots and characters of numerous movies, series, and games about the famous Dark Knight to recreate the entire path of Batman from the moment he first started fighting crime to his becoming a hero of Gotham and a threat to the most cunning Supervillains.
The creators of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight promise to maintain a balance between light and slightly humorous storytelling and the dark atmosphere of Christopher Nolan's films.
From the perspective of the combat system and overall gameplay, the new game resembles the Batman: Arkham trilogy, but due to its setting and low age rating, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is slightly simplified.
Interestingly, players can control not only Batman but also any of the six other characters: Jim Gordon, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul — each with unique gadgets and fighting styles.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
