Hyundai Unveils High-Power EV Chargers at Nürburgring: Free Charging for Ioniq N Owners!
Hyundai Motor has expanded its charging infrastructure network for high-performance electric vehicles by installing new stations on the Nürburgring track in Germany near the Tourist Drive entrance. Two N Hyper Charger units began pilot operation on March 14, 2026.
What is known
The complex includes four charging points with a maximum capacity of up to 400 kW DC. The stations are open to all electric vehicles, but owners of the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N models will be able to use them for free from April via the Charge myHyundai app. Under optimal conditions, charging these models from 10% to 80% takes about 18 minutes.
This is Hyundai's first fast charging station on the Nürburgring premises. The project continues the development of infrastructure for the brand's high-performance electric vehicles. Previously, in 2023, the company installed a similar station at the Inje Speedium racing complex in South Korea.
Hyundai notes that developing its own charging network should unlock the potential of the N line of electric models. The new facility at the Nürburgring is aimed at drivers who use electric vehicles under track conditions and high loads.
