Electronic Arts is desperately trying to stop the outflow of players from the multiplayer shooter Battlefield 6 and is ramping up the release of new content. The game received a major update 1.2.2.0, which contains more than 300 changes.

What is known

The main innovation is the Nightfall mode, in which players participate in night operations and use specialized equipment, including night vision devices. The new map Hagental Base has also been added.

The temporary Red Bull Supermoto event has started in Battlefield REDSEC, where gamers compete in off-road motorcycle races (a strange activity for a military shooter). The Fort Lyndon map has received significant updates, with new locations added.

Developers added two new motorcycles M1030-M1 and TM/O 450, the CZ3A1 submachine gun, the vz. 61 automatic rifle, and adjusted mortars. AI behavior when controlling vehicles has been significantly improved.

However, there is more good news for gamers

Until March 24, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series users can try Battlefield 6 for free as part of a special promotion. In this mode, four maps are available, including the new Hagental Base, as well as six game modes.
