Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Reveals Peter Parker's Identity Wipe and Mysterious Mutation
Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first trailer for the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", which will bring Tom Holland back to the screens as the lead.
The premiere of the film will take place on July 31, exclusively in theaters. Viewers will be offered a story in which New York has, for some reason, forgotten that Spider-Man is Peter Parker, and the hero starts fighting crime anonymously again, just like at the beginning of his journey. Other previously familiar characters will also return to the narrative, such as the Punisher, Bruce Banner, and Scorpion, with the main villains being the members of the "Hand" clan.
The plot is interesting also because Spider-Man undergoes a mutation, with its first manifestation being organic webbing.
The star cast will also include Zendaya, who will return to the role of Mary Jane (MJ) — by the way, even Spider-Man's girlfriend won't recognize him.
