CD Projekt unveils arcade-exclusive Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush with thrilling bike battles in neon-lit Night City
CD Projekt RED is actively expanding the Cyberpunk 2077 franchise. Several board games have already been released, and recently the Polish studio announced CD Projekt RED announced a trading card game based on the Cyberpunk universe, and now they have presented an even more unusual project.
Together with UNIS Technolog, CD Projekt is creating an arcade racing game Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush
In its first trailer, the inspiration from the iconic biker action game Road Rash by EA is unmistakable, where participants in crazy races could hit each other with melee weapons and shoot pistols — this is exactly how the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush looks, but instead of post-apocalyptic landscapes, there are the neon-lit streets of futuristic Night City and its desolate outskirts.
Apparently, the game is being created on the same RED Engine, as the motorcycle models and most assets are taken directly from Cyberpunk 2077.
And now the main thing
Chrome Rush is created exclusively for a two-player arcade machine, and the seats are styled like motorcycle models, similar to the SEGA Hang-On attraction. Such entertainment can be found in almost all malls, but when the new race will appear in them is still unknown.
