Oura Ring 5 Leak Reveals New Design and Advanced Sensors: What to Expect in 2027
Oura is preparing to release the Oura Ring 5, and the first leaks have already revealed the design of the ring and the charging case. The new generation will be available in six colors: glossy black, silver, and gold, matte black, satin silver, and a new "Deep Rose" instead of the previous rose gold.
What is Known
Externally, the ring has undergone minimal changes: the shape has become more rounded, and the transition to the inner synthetic resin is smoother. Inside, there are several electrical and optical sensors. The optical sensors are larger compared to Oura Ring 4, allowing the heart rate and SpO2 sensors to obtain more accurate data thanks to additional red and green LEDs.
Also available are the home charging station and portable case for on-the-go charging, with a design that has hardly changed. Although the release is expected only in the second half of 2027, the leaks already show what the next generation of Oura smart rings will look like and what changes the sensors and accessories will receive.
