Polish studio Techland has announced a new edition of the highly acclaimed zombie action game Dying Light: The Beast. It will be called Restored Land and will be released on March 26.

Edition Restored Land Dying Light: The Beast

What's new in Dying Light: The Beast

Essentially, Restored Land is a DLC that will be available for free to everyone who bought the game. The edition will include the base version of The Beast and all updates. But the main feature is the new content — Restored Land will offer players hardcore challenges with survival mechanics. In the new mode, there are even fewer resources, and items do not respawn, nor do the killed zombies. The main character will need food, and the flashlight's charge will no longer automatically replenish, requiring players to find batteries.

There will also be fewer items in stores, and the prices for those available will significantly increase. For the most hardcore gamers, a permanent death mode is provided — one mistake and the game has to be started over. As additional entertainment, Roadkill Rallies races, new achievements, and much more will appear.

Dying Light: The Beast is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
