Xiaomi Unveils Affordable, Stylish Desktop Speaker Pro with Deep Bass and Wireless Connectivity
Xiaomi has released the Desktop Speaker Pro to the global market — a budget-friendly yet powerful and stylish audio system, primarily designed to connect to PCs and laptops.
Stylish design, deep bass
The Xiaomi Desktop Speaker Pro is the global version of the Debuting Redmi Soundbar Speaker 2 Pro - a budget audio system from Xiaomi with a wireless subwoofer and RGB lighting and consists of a compact soundbar and wireless subwoofer. The device is specifically designed for desktop placement and promises richer sound compared to conventional computer speakers.
The main module is equipped with four speakers and passive radiators, angled at 53° to direct sound straight to the user, creating a more immersive scene. The subwoofer features a 96 mm driver capable of reproducing low frequencies down to 60 Hz, providing deeper and richer bass.
Importantly, no cable is needed between the soundbar and the subwoofer — they connect wirelessly, simplifying room placement. However, the subwoofer still requires power from a socket.
Both modules are equipped with RGB lighting with several modes, including synchronization of lighting with the sound being played. The lighting is located at the bottom of the cases, creating a reflection effect on the surface.
Features and capabilities
The system supports several equalizer modes, adapted for different scenarios — music, games, movies, and voice. An integrated DSP processor is also provided, responsible for sound processing and frequency balance.
