Polish studio CI Games presented the gameplay teaser for the hardcore action RPG Lords of the Fallen II.

This will be a sequel to the 2023 game, which was released in not the best technical condition, received a lot of criticism, but over time, developers fixed most of the shortcomings. The authors claim that the second part will be better in every way than the first, and new footage confirms this. Lords of the Fallen II is also being created on Unreal Engine 5, but it looks much larger and more impressive than its predecessor.

What is known

The video shows the alpha version of Lords of the Fallen II, yet at this stage, the game is impressive. The trailer is dedicated to Umbra — a location that is the Realm of the Dead. There are huge skeletons everywhere, the area is as phantasmagorical as possible and defies logic, and its inhabitants are much more dangerous than those inhabiting the Realm of the Living.

Players can also evaluate fundamentally different types of weapons and the general resemblance of Lords of the Fallen II to games from the Japanese studio FromSoftware.

As in Lords of the Fallen (2023), the player can enter Umbra with a magical lantern or after the first death in each cycle. In the sequel, players will encounter an even darker world than in previous parts of the series.

When to expect

The release of Lords of the Fallen II is expected in 2026 on PC (in Epic Game Store), PS5, and Xbox Series.

The game can already be added to the wishlist on all platforms.
