Razer Blade 16 Unveiled: Intel Panther Lake Power and RTX 50 Graphics in a Sleek Package
Razer introduced the updated Blade 16 gaming laptop model of 2026, focusing on the new platform. The main change is the transition from AMD to Intel Core Ultra 9 (Panther Lake) processors.
The new chip has 16 cores, which provides a performance boost and improved energy efficiency. According to the manufacturer, the laptop has become noticeably more efficient and faster in resource-intensive tasks.
RTX 50 Series Graphics
The graphics are provided by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series video cards — from RTX 5070 Ti to the flagship RTX 5090. This makes the laptop a full-fledged replacement for a desktop PC for modern games at high settings and professional graphic work.
For AI-task acceleration, a built-in NPU module with a power of 50 TOPS is offered.
Bright OLED display
Blade 16 (2026) received an improved 16” OLED display with QHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and brightness up to 1000+ nits in HDR mode.
Fast memory and new interfaces
Another important aspect for improving performance was the integration of a large amount (up to 64 GB) of fast LPDDR5X RAM.
The laptop has a Thunderbolt 5 port and supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 standards, as well as USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a UHS-II card reader.
Overheating excluded
The laptop is equipped with a powerful cooling system with a large vapor chamber, thin radiators, and two fans for stable operation. For additional cooling, Razer offers using its proprietary stands, which increase GPU power consumption up to 175 W.
Body and battery
Despite the powerful hardware, the laptop maintains a slim aluminum body (about 15 mm) with a weight of 2.1 kg.
Razer claims up to 13 hours of battery life in mixed tasks, which is a significant improvement for gaming laptops.
Price and availability
The new model is already on sale:
- starting price — about $3499
- top version with RTX 5090 — up to $4499
More affordable configurations are expected later.
