Oppo is preparing to launch the new compact Oppo Pad Mini tablet, which will be one of the most powerful devices in its class. Despite its compact size, the novelty is rumored to offer a combination of top-notch hardware and impressive battery life and will compete with the iPad Mini.

What is Known

The gadget's presentation has not yet taken place, but Product Director Qiao Jiadong couldn't wait to show off the novelty to the public, which he did on social media.

The specifications of the Oppo Pad Mini are not officially revealed yet, but a reputable insider Digital Chat Station has already learned them and informed the public.

The main feature of the model will be an 8.8” OLED display with high resolution (about 2.5K) and an increased refresh rate. Such a screen makes the device convenient for both multimedia and gaming.

Performance is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor — a flagship level chip, which is rarely found in compact tablets. Thanks to this, the Oppo Pad Mini will be able to handle not only everyday tasks but also resource-intensive applications and games.

Another key advantage will be a battery capacity of around 8000 mAh. For a device of this size, this is quite an impressive figure — the battery is 60% larger than, for example, the iPad Mini 7 and surpasses the battery of the Huawei MatePad Mini — the main competitor of the Oppo Pad Mini.

Oppo Pad Mini Specifications

As for the cameras, everything is standard for the segment: a main module with a 13 MP sensor and a front camera with 8 MP is expected — sufficient for video calls and basic photography.

According to preliminary data, the tablet will be presented in April as part of a major Oppo presentation, during which other brand novelties will also be shown.
