Bluesky Unveils Attie: AI Assistant for Tailored Feeds Using Simple Language Commands
The social network Bluesky is preparing a new product — an AI assistant for creating personalized feeds. The tool, called Attie, allows users to create their own feeds without programming knowledge, using regular text queries.
What is known
The development is carried out by the Exploration team within Bluesky, curated by Jay Graber. Attie is positioned as an "agentic social app" — an application that operates on the AT Protocol and can independently generate content based on user descriptions.
Operating principle: the user inputs a request in natural language, for example — show electronic music from people in their network or posts by developers of open protocols. After this, the AI automatically generates the appropriate feed.
According to Graber, interaction with Attie is more like a conversation than setup — the user describes the desired content, and the system creates its structure.

Attie exists as a separate application and is not mandatory for Bluesky users. At the same time, the common technological base allows for integration between services in the future.
Currently, Attie is in a closed beta testing stage by invitation only. Interested parties can sign up for the waiting list through the project's official website.
