Vivo has introduced a new smartphone X300s, which became a more affordable alternative to the flagship Ultra version, while retaining the key focuses of the series — an advanced camera and high-capacity battery. Recall, the Ultra model was the first in the world to receive two 200 MP sensors, Vivo X300 Ultra Shakes Up Photography: First Smartphone with Dual 200MP Sensors and Pro-Level Accessories.

Vivo X300s — more modest cameras, but it doesn't lose its status as a cool smartphone

The main feature of the device remains the camera: it also uses a system with Zeiss optics, including a 200 MP main module with optical stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with optical zoom support. A 50 MP front camera is also provided. This set makes the model versatile for shooting — from landscapes to portraits and zoom.

Advanced Accessories for Advanced Users

In addition to the basic characteristics, Vivo actively develops the accessory ecosystem for the X300 series, and the S-model supports proprietary telescopic attachments — for example, the G2 module with a focal length of about 200 mm, which significantly expands zoom capabilities and turns the smartphone into a more flexible shooting tool.

The senior model of the line (Vivo X300 Ultra) received even more advanced solutions, and part of them is compatible with the X300s: among the accessories — removable telephoto lenses (including versions up to 400 mm), as well as a professional video kit developed in collaboration with SmallRig. It includes a cage with handles, additional lighting, cooling, and mounts for microphones, essentially turning the smartphone into a compact cinema camera.

Excellent specifications

Vivo X300s received a 6.78” AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for both multimedia and gaming. The performance is ensured by the top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 standard storage. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 shell.

Autonomy deserves special attention

Vivo X300s is equipped with a 7100 mAh battery — one of the largest among modern flagships, and larger than the Ultra (6600 mAh). It supports fast charging with 90 W power and wireless charging at 40 W.

The price of the vivo X300s in China starts (converted from yuan) at $725 for the 12/256 GB version and reaches $1010 for the 16 GB/1 TB variant.
