Meta Tests Instagram Plus: Uncover New Features with Extended Stories and Audience Insights
Meta has started testing a new paid service, Instagram Plus, with additional features for users. The first mentions of the subscription appeared in the app in some countries, including the Philippines and Mexico.
What is known
According to screenshots, the service offers enhanced capabilities for Stories. Among them are the posting of stories longer than 24 hours, creating multiple audience lists, and access to detailed view statistics. Users will be able to see repeat views of Stories and search for specific people in the viewer list.

Other features include previewing Stories, creating "highlights," and new reactions in the form of "super hearts."
Meta confirmed the testing and noted that the function is available only in a few countries and not for all users. The company also clarified that viewing Stories without appearing in the viewer list works through the preview mode, and the stories themselves can be extended for another 24 hours.
The subscription cost during the testing phase is about $1–2 per month depending on the region. Users are also offered a free trial period.
