Developer Leak: Lords of the Fallen 2 Release Date Revealed for August 2026!
The Polish publisher CI Games does not disclose the release date of the hardcore action-RPG Lords of the Fallen 2, limiting itself to a statement about "2026" and that the game will surpass the first part in every way.
However, one of the key developers accidentally or inadvertently revealed the approximate release window of the sequel.
What is Known
An attentive Reddit user, who was quick enough to take a screenshot of the unexpected mention, reported that CI Games' lead game systems designer Dan Regan indicated in his portfolio that he is working on Lords of the Fallen 2, which is "expected to release in August 2026." He soon deleted the release window, but it's of little use now, as the information quickly spread across the internet.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is a direct continuation of the ambiguous 2023 game, which was criticized for its poor technical condition, but over time the developers corrected most of the shortcomings and gamers became more favorable towards it.
The sequel is being developed for PS5 and Xbox Series, and the PC version is announced as an Epic Games Store exclusive, although developers hinted that with the success of certain business agreements, the game might also appear on Steam.
