The popular peripheral brand Razer has announced the wireless keyboard Pro Type Ergo, aimed not at gamers, but at users who work at a computer for many hours a day.

The main feature of the novelty is its ergonomic design

The keyboard is divided into two parts with a bend, allowing hands to be held in a more natural position and reducing strain on wrists and shoulders.

The manufacturer also redesigned the layout — for instance, duplicate keys (such as “B”), an additional Backspace key (between the two spaces), and alternative zones for frequently used actions have been added to reduce unnecessary finger movements.

The keyboard is equipped with low-profile keys with a soft stroke and a noise reduction system, making it suitable for office work. The built-in wrist rest and adjustable tilt angle should enhance comfort during prolonged typing.

Additional features

Among the additional features are two customizable Command Dial controllers and five macro keys, which can be adapted for different applications. There is also a separate button for quick access to AI functions via proprietary software.

Razer Pro Type Ergo can connect to five devices at once: Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz radio channel, and a wired connection via USB-C are supported. The declared battery life reaches three months.

Despite being positioned as a work keyboard, Razer has retained its signature 19-zone customizable RGB lighting.
