Oppo Pad Mini Unveiled: Ultra-Thin, Powerful Tablet Challenges iPhone 17 Pro Max's Weight!
The compact Oppo Pad Mini tablet, Oppo Find X9 Ultra Set to Dazzle with Dual 200MP Cameras and Massive Battery Launching April 21, is gaining more details.
Last week, the product director of the Chinese brand, Qiao Jiadong Oppo Pad Mini: Compact Powerhouse with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Massive Battery Set to Challenge iPad Mini and earlier, reputable insider Digital Chat Station revealed almost all of its specifications.
However, today he shared another interesting message that, we are sure, will attract even more attention to the Oppo Pad Mini.
What is known
It is known that the tablet will have an 8.8” screen and a fairly large battery capacity of 8000 mAh with 67W charging support. Yet it features an incredibly thin body — only 5.39 mm and weighs just 279 g, whereas the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a 4800/5100 mAh battery (depending on the model) and a 6.9” diagonal is only 46 g lighter than Oppo's novelty.
Thus, the company sets a new standard for compact tablets. It is important to note that the manufacturer did not have to sacrifice flagship specs for the dimensions, resulting in a device with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, excellent autonomy, and an OLED screen.
The memory size is still unknown, but Digital Chat Station added that the novelty will support eSIM, although it's unclear if it will be in all versions.
