OnePlus Nord CE: 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 750G chip, up to 12GB RAM, NFC, 64MP camera and price starting from €329
OnePlus has announced a new smartphone in the Nord line.
What is known
The device is named OnePlus Nord CE and is positioned as a simplified version of last year's OnePlus Nord. The smartphone received a similar appearance, but different characteristics.
OnePlus Nord CE is equipped with a 6.43-inch panel. It has a hole for a 16MP front camera. The screen has FHD + resolution, AMOLED matrix and support for refresh rate of 90 Hz. The eight-core Snapdragon 750G platform paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of ROM, is responsible for the performance of the smartphone.
The main camera in the device has three sensors: the main one for 64 MP with f/1.79, a wide-angle one for 8 MP with f/ 2.25 and macro lens for 2 MP with f/2.4. The camera supports Night Mode as well as Portrait Mode, UltraShot HDR and AI Scene Detection. You can use Face Unlock or under-the-screen fingerprint reader to unlock your device.
The OnePlus Nord CE has NFC, a headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and a dual nano SIM slot. The novelty is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. It supports Warp Charge 30 Plus proprietary fast charging and is able to charge the device up to 70% in 30 minutes. Nord CE ships with Android 11 and the proprietary OxygenOS 11 shell, which includes a dark theme, Always-On Display and Zen Mode. The manufacturer promises to update the smartphone within three years: two years of OS updates (Android 12 and Android 13) and three years of security patches.
