Gothic 1 Remake Preorders Open: Experience the Classic RPG with Modern Enhancements This June
The long-awaited remake of the cult role-playing game Gothic is coming to the final stretch and after several years of intensive development, publisher THQ Nordic and studio Alkimia Interactive have announced great news.
Pre-orders are open for Gothic 1 Remake on all platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions are priced at $/€ 59.99, while on PC (Steam, GOG) the game costs $/€ 49.99, which by today’s standards is quite a democratic price.
Let us remind you that some of the authors of the original game from Piranha Bytes are involved in the development of Gothic 1 Remake, and in general, the developers promise to preserve the atmosphere, plot, and game design of the famous RPG (2001), but translate them into modern technologies, add excellent graphics, convenient controls, and enrich the game with relevant mechanics.
Gamers can still check out the Nyras Prologue demo version, which is receiving good reviews and allows you to be convinced of the quality of the game.
The release of Gothic 1 Remake is scheduled for June 5th.
