Casio has expanded the G-Shock lineup and launched new models GMH5600-1 and GMH5600-9 in the USA market. Previously, these devices appeared in Japan and are now available to American users for $385.

What is known

Both models received a stainless steel metal bezel and are available in two versions — black with silver accents and black with gold plating. The watches are equipped with a contrasting MIP LCD display with a dark background, which can be customized via the Casio Watches mobile app.

The devices have an optical pulse sensor and an accelerometer for step counting. Thanks to integration with the Polar library, advanced workout analysis is available, including cardiorespiratory condition and sleep tracking. The watch also supports recording up to 100 workouts, and the distance is adjusted via the smartphone's GPS.

Among the additional features are the display of Moon phases, sunrise and sunset times, stopwatch, alarms, and support for 38 time zones. The model supports Bluetooth connection.

The case is made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin, and the strap is polymer. The watches withstand immersion up to 200 meters and support both USB charging and solar power. The autonomy is up to 35 hours with active pulse measurement or up to 11 months in power-saving mode.

Currently, there is no information on the release of new items in Europe.
