Chinese brand OnePlus has unveiled the Nord 6 — a smartphone positioned as a newcomer in the mid-range category, yet with flagship ambitions. The main focus in the new product is on maximum autonomy, extreme protection, and deep integration of artificial intelligence.

Energy for Several Days

The main highlight of the OnePlus Nord 6 is its silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 9000mAh. Despite the large volume, engineers managed to keep the body profile quite thin (8.5mm). The smartphone promises up to 2.5 days of active mode operation or about 27 hours of nonstop YouTube viewing. The 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging can fully revive the device in just over an hour, and the Bypass Charging technology allows the processor to be powered directly during games, preventing battery overheating.

Pro-Level Performance

The Nord 6 is designed for gamers and active users. It features a 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM (up to 12GB).

Mobile gaming fans will also be interested in the 6.78" AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a record-breaking touch response of 3200Hz. The device's brightness reaches 1800 nits, providing excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. The special Touch Reflex chip and 165 FPS support ensure extremely smooth gaming performance.

This Smartphone Fears Nothing

The device has an unprecedented level of protection for the series. It is certified according to IP66, IP68, and IP69K standards, meaning complete dustproofing and resistance to water jets under high pressure and temperature. In addition, the body has been tested for compliance with the military standard MIL-STD-810H.

Intelligence and Cameras

The smartphone runs on OxygenOS 16 (Android 16). The system features AI Mind Space based on Google Gemini, which helps plan trips and analyze user data.

The camera block features a main sensor of 50MP (Sony LYTIA-600) with two-axis optical stabilization, and the front camera has 32MP with autofocus and 4K video support. The smartphone supports the AI Eraser function for removing unwanted objects from photos and AI Unblur for restoring image sharpness.

Availability and Price

The OnePlus Nord 6 is available in Fresh Mint, Quick Silver, and Pitch Black colors.

The sale will start on April 9 in India at a price starting from $420 (converted from rupees) for the basic 8/256GB version and $455 for the 12/256 version.

The smartphone will receive OS updates for 4 years and security patches for 6 years.

A global launch for Nord 6 has not been announced yet.
