Moto G Stylus (2026): Military-Grade Durability, Smart Stylus, and Blazing 5000-Nit Brightness at $499
Simultaneously with Motorola Unveils Moto Pad 2026: Sleek 5G Tablet with Stunning 2.5K Display and Smart Connect Features, Motorola introduced the Moto G Stylus (2026) smartphone.
In 2026, the lineup made a qualitative leap: now it is a device protected by military standards with an active stylus, claiming to be a universal work tool.
Creativity without borders
The main star is the new active stylus. Unlike previous generations, the pen now recognizes pressure levels and tilt, turning the smartphone into a full-fledged graphic tablet. Thanks to integration with the Moto AI neural network, input lag is almost zero, and the “Smart Memo” function allows instant digitization of handwritten notes and their conversion into tables or charts.
The stylus provides up to 100 hours of standby time and almost four hours of writing. When the battery is low, it fully charges in just 15 minutes.
Reliable protection and style
The body of the novelty is made of high-strength polymer with a premium vegan leather finish. The smartphone is available in two colors: PANTONE Coal Smoke and PANTONE Lavender Mist.
Motorola focused on maximum protection, and thanks to the IP69 protocol, the smartphone is not afraid of water immersion and even withstands direct jets of hot water under pressure. Completing the picture is the military certificate MIL-STD-810H: drops and extreme temperatures are not a threat to it.
Technical specifications
The Moto G Stylus (2026) received a 6.7” Extreme AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a record peak brightness of 5000 nits — the screen remains readable even under the blinding sun. The energy-efficient Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and the Adreno 710 GPU is responsible for performance. The manufacturer promises high autonomy thanks to the 5200 mAh battery with 68W charging and 15W wireless charging.
The main 50 MP Ultra Pixel camera with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with optical image stabilization and all-pixel technology provides the Moto G Stylus (2026) with clear and bright photos even in low light conditions. The camera unit is complemented by a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor and a macro camera, while the 32 MP front camera ensures studio-quality shooting and automatically switches to group mode when more people enter the frame.
The Moto G Stylus records 4K video on all lenses, with improved stabilization for smooth shooting even when moving.
Price and Availability
The Moto G Stylus (2026) hits the market on April 16 at a price of $499. At the start of sales, Motorola is aggressively competing for loyalty: buyers of the 256 GB version receive an extended bundle with Moto Watch and Moto Tag for free.
